PDM Analysis Exhibited at AirTech 2024

PDM Analysis exhibited at AirTech 2024, the UK’s only dedicated exhibition for the compressed air, generators and vacuum market. This year the event was hosted in the NEC Birmingham – National Exhibition Centre as part of the larger Smart Manufacturing & Engineering week. Smart Manufacturing Engineering Week is not just an event; it’s a festival of industrial innovation. It is determined to make it a memorable experience for everyone involved. Whether they’re a seasoned industry expert or a curious newcomer, the focus is always on creating connections, fostering meaningful interactions, and driving the industry forward.

Let’s talk about SCORG

Air-Tech highlights the very latest in air compression and related technology from companies from around the globe. It is an ideal opportunity to engage with manufacturers, distributors and end users alike, and to gain impartial advice about legislation, standards and technical issues. As part of the exhibition, PDM Analysis was in Hall 5 stand 5-H50 on June 5th and 6th, 2024, and focused on was showcasing the new features in SCORG, our specialised software for designing and analysing positive displacements machines.

The new release of SCORG V2024 is a significant step into design exploration for SCORG. New features were introduced to model Vacuum pumps with Quimby rotor profile as well as the 3D CAD design of screw compressor elements. Those who visited our booth were eager to hear about how these new features would help them.

We were also able to present PDM Analysis, SCORG and discuss what is new in the world of Screw Compressors through a few of our presentations, hosted by Prof. Ahmed Kovacevic.

Networking Opportunities

The array of exhibitors at Air-Tech gave visitors access to a broad spectrum of networking opportunities, services, strategies, and technologies. Moreover, The Engineering and Digitalisation Forums featured a free comprehensive programme of presentations and panel discussions strategically located in two theatres at the heart of the event.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand at Air-Tech Expo 2024. We had a wonderful time talking with everyone about the future of screw machines and how SCORG can help meet their design, analysis and optimisation needs. We look forward to meeting engineers keen to learn about minimising efforts and maximising the efficiency of the machine design process during the next edition.
