PDM Analysis is pleased to announce the release of the new version V5.6 of software SCORGTM software which help you to design and analyse your screw machines.
Among many new exciting features, this release extends the new way of running SCORGTM in batch mode to allow easy calculation of variety of cases.
New features related to profile handling are:
- direct import of rotor profile from CAD model
- trimming of the profile curves
- introduction of licensed profile option
The licensed profile option allows easy integration of any user specific profile generation routines for easy and convenient handling of profiles.
It is now possible to perform very fast and accurate calculation of multiphase compressors, expanders, pumps and motors with Ansys-Fluent in addition to the STAR-CCM+, Ansys CFX and Simerics-PD solvers. The combination of analytical and differential grid generation results in the best numerical mesh in the market for rotary positive displacement flow machines with helical screw rotors or gears.
Release V5.6 also features an extension in multi-chamber thermodynamic calculation by including additional injection ports, updated bearing loss calculation and other useful features.
