On July 18th 2017, the meeting “Three-Dimensional Computational Fluid Dynamics in Screw Machines” was jointly organized in Shanghai by Hi-Key Tech and PDM Analysis. In total 16 companies and 11 universities attended this conference. Among others, attendees came from Atlas, Jiangxi Huadian Electric Power, Sinopec Petroleum Machinery, Suzhou Research Institute of Xi’an Jiaotong University, Central China University of science and technology and other institutions. The participants have highly valued the content and the technical program of the conference as well as presentations on use of SCORGTM with CFD software such as PumpLinx, Ansys-CFX or STAR CCM+.
They also expressed large interest in CFD cases performed for Chinese and foreign companies and universities which Professor Ahmed Kovacevic from City, University of London and Mrs Yanfen Huang from Hi-Key Tech showed in the conference. At coffee breaks, the industry participants and presenters had good discussion about the problems encountered in design, R&D and analysis of screw machines, and were pleased to be offered solutions for some of the problems. The atmosphere of the event was very friendly and motivating.
We believe that in the near future, our technology solutions can bring real value to the customers to promote independent research and development of our customers.
